Learning Ecosystems (Wise. 2019)
Taking a biological, ecological concept of the ecosystem and applying it to learning has led to a rise in the emerging theory of Learning Ecosystems. With a futures orientated lens this paper uses case studies to illustrate the development of potential changemakers in education. It demonstrates the potential Learning Ecosystems have to transform education learning and practice while highlighting that further inquiry is needed.
